On April 12, 2014 Author Cyril Aphrem Karim, now known as Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II, read a few stories from his newest publication Animals from the Bible during The Annual Archdiocese Easter Egg Hunt at Church of the Virgin Mary in Paramus, New Jersey. On April 11, 2014 His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II received Sheikh Sami Merhi, Chairman of the Muwahdeen Druze Community in North America at the headquarters of the archdiocese.
